1.Loewe’s chairs

This year, LOEWE returned to Salone del Mobile with a collection of chairs reimagined by artisans to become one-of-a-kind collectible items. The selling exhibition took place in the courtyard of Palazzo Isimbardi, Corso Monforte, 35, Milan 20122. There, the Spanish brand unveiled thirty stick chairs—both antique and newly crafted— and eight paper loom chairs to illustrate the functional and decorative value of chairs. The initiative led by creative director Jonathan Anderson, saw these chairs embellished with natural fibres including raffia. The weaving techniques and colourful materials used brought a playful interpretation to familiar designs. The project saw a showcase of weaving techniques in different materials close to the LOEWE lexicon, while others were completely unexpected.

2.Loro Piana’s ‘Apacheta’

The Cortile della Seta at via della Moscova 33 played host to “Apacheta”, the new project by Loro Piana Interiors for Milano Design Week. For the occasion the space was been transformed into a dreamlike panorama imagined by the designer and artist Cristián Mohaded, inspired by the landscapes of Argentina. An infinite white that echoed the pumice stone desert welcomed the "Apacheta" furnishings between towers swathed in their discontinued fabrics. The experience continued with two outdoor installations situated in Piazzetta Brera and the courtyard of Loro Piana's store in via Montenapoleone 27.

Buccellati loves to combine silver with the most diverse materials, and among these Murano glass. As early as the 70s, jam jars became glass flowers and vegetables, with silver lids reproducing leaves and petioles. In 2016 the first collaboration with Venini kicks off to expand and embellish the already well-known Caviar line. Several years on, in occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2023, Buccellati and Venini:two Italian excellences passionate about craftsmanship and tradition, which are symbols in the world of high quality and prestige of workmanship, uniqueness and timeless elegance- launch the "Rosso Maraviglia" including this iteration of the famous Venini fazzoletto vase.
